Branding shots are a small glimpse into who you are as a business owner, they help tell your story as an entrepreneur, and they give a glimpse into the current place you are in your professional journey.
I had my branding session with Colorful Edge Photography by Susan Brown, and of course, I knew she would do a fantastic job, but I didn’t fully grasp what it was like to have a full branding session with her. From the moment you begin communication about your vision, Susan takes the time to really try and learn about your story. She wants to understand your business and your headshot vision, but even more she wants to learn about you - the person that is trusting her to capture your story. She makes you feel welcome, cared for, and appreciated. Why? Because she genuinely, completely, whole-heartedly cares.
At your session, she takes the time to understand what you love and what you are self-conscious of. She listens to your preferences + your concerns, and flexes to make you feel comfortable every step of the way. She reminds you how to pose, and makes you laugh the entire time.
I have nothing but the best things to say about my experience with Susan. And yes, she’s one of my associate hair artists and a co-collaborator on our headshot clinics, and so I trust her completely in a professional capacity. But I have to be honest, I didn’t understand to it’s full capacity what it is about Susan’s sessions that make them so special.
The answer? It is Susan.
